Bill Irwin visited with VFW Post 5844 and is exploring a run for Missouri's 4th congressional district.  Bill Irwin, Captain U.S. Navy SEAL (RET), served his country for 33 years in the Navy.  Bill is troubled by the direction this country is heading and is ready to take on the task to set it right.   

 

During his visit Bill performed 22 pushups, a daily routine, to raise awareness for the average number of veterans who die from suicide every day.  Bill Irwin issued a personal challenge to Missouri House Representative Mike Haffner, friend and former Navy fighter Pilot, to perform 22 pushups for veterans who are saying goodbye too early.
